International Meeting: Sustainable Universities

November 27^th, 28^th and 29 ^th 2017

The Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP) through its Environmental Commission together, the Master program Desarrollo Ambiental, the Dirección Académica de Responsabilidad Social with the Freie Universität Berlin (FU Berlin) under the trAndeS Agreement (Postgraduate Program for the Sustainable Development and Inequality in the Andean Region) are the organizers of the International Meeting: Sustainable Universities to be held on November 27 ^th, 28^th and 29^th this year.

The purpose of the event is as follows:

1. Get to know different experiences implementing environmental policies in universities in different countries considering the positive impact they could have on the PUCP.
2. Create a space where experiences can be shared in order to talk about progress in terms of Sustainable Universities.  
3. Encourage the implementation of sustainable environmental policies inside the PUCP.

Main Topics for Discussion:

1. The University’s role from the perspective of environmental sustainability.
2. Strategic University environmental planning and governance.
3. Environmental management policies.
